The ending was a solid good ending and I absolutely adored the extras and epilogue. I'm so glad I went on this journey.

So basically this wraps up the story in the first 6th of the book, and then proceeds to tell you about the new timeline that Jinwoo created. You meet some familiar faces as he grows up and see what they are doing. Then it finishes with him being an adult married to Hae-In and having a son Suho.
Honestly I would've made the cliffhanger conclusion part of book 7 and left this to just be the epilogue, that way you dont lead people on thinking the main story is going to have this epic battle. But I guess I get it, if it was just the aftermath in this book people might just read the summary and move on.

Everything was good and entertaining. If the first 10-15% weren't the end of the story and this was just a collection of short stories for the story it would be a solid 4*. It was frustrating to have the story of the first 7 volumes end in the first few pages then have a ton more book that wasn't part of that story.

Overall, this series was exactly what I needed right now. A very fun and easy to read story with a lovable MC and interesting magical creatures. I don't think a book 8 was needed, as the story ended in 67 pages with the rest of the book being bonus chapters and an epilogue. I am super excited about reading the manga so I can get more visuals for the characters and creatures and also watching the anime when it comes out in January of 2024!
