This one was ok for me.

I liked the characters and plot. Mel and Evan were cute and the side characters were fun! I enjoyed the town and their story, but it fell short for me.

I can’t nail down why but it just didn’t grab me.

4.5⭐️ I absolutely had the best time reading this book. If you have been looking for a book with the same vibes as It Happened One Summer look no further. This book is a small town fake engagement romance between a lobster fisherman and an influencer. It was so cute and had the best small town vibes.
