I think this is my favorite of the influencers series! It was so cute and sexy and fun. Amy Lea wrote a beautiful story and she did so well with this series in general. Like why did the acknowledgment at the end make me cry???? What she did with these books are probably better than any self help book I’ve ever read lmao. I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

This was cute. I know people compare it to It Happened One Summer, but I enjoyed it. Mel and Evan were adorable. Check it out!

I just love this whole series! Evan is a total Canadian hottie

Thank you to Amy Lea, Netgalley and PRHAudio for the ebook and ALC!

Listen, anything Amy writes is delightful.

I really enjoyed the location of this book! Love a coastal town! Add in a grumpy hero and a bit of a fake dating trope? Yes.

I love this series!

This book was so cute! A fairly predictable grumpy sunshine romance between a small town guy and city girl, but with some extra something thrown in. My favorite book of the collection and one of my most enjoyable reads recently. 4.5*

Got better just as I was going to give up on it. In all seriousness though, despite the fact my own long term relationship started as quickly as this one, I still find it a bit tiresome to read and hard to believe in instant love romance books. Overall a bit meh in the end, but it made me try my hand at cooking poutine (aka the food of gods) and I loved the random Maple Leafs hat.

The Catch is cute but it won’t change your life. It’s fine for a beach read but honestly there are many better ones out there. Apparently it’s the third book in a trilogy which I didn’t realise and the first two are supposedly a lot better.

Meh, ok, not great, not terrible.

Fun and light reminiscing of It happened one summer. Wish it we had dual POV before the epilogue. But props for giving Timbits & poutine their due recognition. ☺️
