⭐️4- maybe would have been a 4+ but the epilogue was meh.

The POV change out of nowhere felt misplaced and I laughed at the boat name. Like maybe if there was like an inside joke nickname but straight Melanie?

This book was so cute, formulaic but adorable. Always love a grumpy sunshine duo. And just the small town guy is always my favorite. So so cute overall

The beginning just didn’t connect to me. There was something about Evan that just annoyed me but towards the end it got better and had a few cute moments

I feel like each book in this series was better than the one before. Melanie and Evan were hilarious (loved her sarcasm) and yet so cute. Melanie was very raw and relatable as a character in her fear of opening up and risking loosing people, but yet feeling lonely with her walls up, and I loved seeing her opening up and finding out who she was in the unexpected environment of Cora’s Cove.

“You want to be my power of attorney?”
“ Of course I want to be your power of attorney.”
I think this is the single most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me.

Some people grow up with a sense of home. They know where they were born. They know the family they’re born into is who they were meant to be with. My entire life, I’ve been looking for home. A refuge. A place to belong. Somewhere I can cultivate my hopes and dreams. A light when everything else feels dark. Now, for the first time, I feel wholly anchored.

Wherever I am with Evan, I am home.
