I'm so glad I watched several interviews with Jennifer Weiner which reminded me how much I like her. This was her recommendation of one of her books in audio format. I enjoyed this story a lot and things were not brought to a close as I expected. A great family drama.

I just couldn't get into the book, but I did like the characters. Not my favorite Weiner book, but not a bad read.

Not my favourite Jennifer Weiner book, but still a decent summer read.

Suffice to say this book took me a very long time to read, and I picked up several other books to read in the middle of it.

A great book about a politician's wife who discovers her husband had an affair, and the fallout it has for her and her two daughters, who are each going through changes in their lives already. Nicely written, and not the ending I totally expected.

As I started this book, I kept flipping back to the front flap description and the back flap author bio to see if this book was what the tv show The Good Wife with Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth was based on. Granted, I don't watch that show, but this all just sounded too familiar. Later, I looked the tv show up on Wiki to see if this book was mentioned. It wasn't. It also became apparent that Sylvie in this book wasn't going to stand up for herself to the public like in the tv show. I enjoyed this book okay, but I found myself skipping ahead a bit, looking or more. There wasn't much terribly revolutionary or revealing in this book, though it was a nice, light read. I suppose I'll return it to the library now, so the 87 people waiting on hold behind me can get to it.

I enjoyed this story. Flawed characters, but believable. I liked it!

This book was all right. Not Jennifer Wiener's best. The daughters' stories were more interesting than the mother's.

This book was a good book overall, I just had a hard time getting into it. It was a book that I would read one chapter in and then be ready to do something else. It wasn't a page turner but it was one I did enjoy.

I really enjoyed this one. It was my first novel by Weiner so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was engaged the whole time.
