A fatal accident in a horse's race is the starting point of a story that will lead you to a very unexpected plot. I really enjoyed the complexities of it, the play of the different loyalties going on here, and the highlighting of the horrors of the traffic of exotic animals.

I must say I was kind of surprised when the Amazon rain forest came upfront and wasn't really sure how this subplot would relate with the main one, and yet... it did, in spades.

Well-written, solid plot and great suspense, this is a recommended one!

And Bill Nevitt, as always does a truly great job. This is particularly noticeable when he gives voice to the considerable amount of Spanish that is woven into the story. As a native Spanish speaker, I can only applaud his accuracy. Excellent job!
