Some good information and be forewarned. This book is as much about Julius Caesar and Marc Antony as Cleopatra, who really doesn't enter until almost halfway through the book. Either cut the text by a third or change the title. Simple.

Not bad but I kept forgetting I was reading a book about Cleopatra and not Mark Anthony and Caesar.

I got this book to learn about Cleopatra but most of this book it just about the men in her life. I wanted to learn about her early life, but nothing! It only starts when Caesar is about to die.  I was so disappointed with the sexist language about her looks which is actually historical thought to have been a myth to make the Romans understand why powerful men fell for her (more likely it was her intelligence, power and theatrics)

Amazing story. Easy read. Really brought this epic story to life. Only lost half a star because it’s a book not just about her, so I feel like the title is a little misleading. She’s barely even in the first two chapters. But the conclusion is great.

Got 16% through before I decided to read some reviews to see if the book actually starts to focus on Cleopatra.

DNF... I think I need a fresh start for a fresh year

I learned more about Cleopatras breasts then about her. A horribly sexist book and most of the time not even about Cleopatra.

Sexist, poorly written, no writing style to be seen and dull.
