Charming and sweet, well-written and unique.
I loved this book. It was like breathing clean air - just so invigorating and new and fresh.

I really enjoyed this book about an extremely eccentric young boy. I loved the character development. I highly recommend!
Frank was cool. The rest of the characters were meh. The book seems off.
Frank is a magical character but the relationships in this book need more explanation and especially, some evidence of growth over time.
I started this book enjoying it, as it is in the similar vein of Come Thou Tortoise and The Rosie Project. But throughout it didn't live up to either of those. It has its moments of humour, but overall the plot ended up a bit weak and convenient.
I won this book from a goodreads contest. So happy that I did. This book was on of those "I can't put it down" books.
Frank, of course, is the main character of the book. He is a very smart 9 year old who should have been born in the 30's.
Alice is sent out to LA to help Frank's mother write a book. You didn't know what to expect in each chapter.
The descriptions in the book really brought everyone to life. Would love to see this in a made for TV movie
Overall great book.

Overall great book.
I loved Frank right from the start. This book was sweet without being obnoxious, and wacky without veering into unbelievable-crazy. I actually stopped reading it on a day when I could have finished it because I didn't want it to end!
I absolutely loved this book. When I started this book I had just finished another great book (the revenant) After finishing a great book I'm usually in book blues and have a hard time starting a new one. That didn't happen. From the first chapter I was in love with the characters. This book made me laugh out loud more than once and tugged at my heart more than once. Very well written and a quick read!
Enchanting madcap comedy; I won't forget Frank any time soon.
