Review: FMC Rhianna has been an unregistered magic user and on the run with her aunt her whole life, but then she is tracked down by the “Man in Black,” and he and his friend Stone bring her back, and she is allowed to go to an academy instead of a labor camp. There’s a mean girl story arc, reluctant fated mates, etc. – all in all, a lot of this book feels like other books I’ve read before and nothing was really surprising. It’s not terrible; I just feel like nothing new is being done, and it’s all something I’ve read before.
I am a fan of bully romance (with redemption), but I don’t know if I will continue this series, maybe after I read some of the other things that have been sitting in my TBR first.
