Don't expect much from this book in terms of plot or character growth. The plot was actually interesting, but most of the second half was the characters having sex and nothing else really happening. I would've been fine with that but the main characters often made sexist comments and there was some vague biphobia that made me dislike Wes a lot. I wish there was more time spent on the exploring the characters as people.

Also I really didn't need to hear that much detail about their sex as teens. I could've gotten the highlights.

 So. Fucking. Hot.

I could not stop listening to this book! This is one of those rare gems you find that you just can't seem to pull yourself away from.

The character development that Jamie and Ryan have throughout the whole book is heartwarming. You can tell the authors really had an idea in mind and executed it wonderfully. This book makes me wish the characters were real.

Listened on audible.

Him is a hockey romance between two old friends Jamie Canning and Ryan Wesley.

I've been wanting to read this book for a while as it's a highly recommended MM romance book and I'm sooo glad I have read it. The audiobook was great and the two people reading it were perfect for the characters.

Can't wait to read the next book in the series Us!

Overall a super quick, sweet, spicy M/M romance! I loved Wes & Jamie together and loved reading the way their friendship to relationship really bloomed. I also loved the fluidity with which Jamie came into his understanding of his sexuality. Just really loved the story and our main guys 🥰 Excited to know there’s more of their story! Definitely will be reading soon.

Also the audiobook was *chef’s kiss* for anyone who appreciates a 🌶️ one! The Dual POV narrations were fantastic and the narrators are two of my faves. Highly recommend!
