Ugh, this isn't a murder mystery. This is a sadistic book written by a sadistic author about some sadistic creep shooting and raping his way across new mexico. You can practically hear McGarrity's sick hard-on straining his Wrangler jeans with each horribly written chapter ughgurhggbgbg

This was an amazing addition to a perfect series. Kevin Kerney and his son, Lincoln County Sheriff's Department Lt Clayton Istee, are after a truly psychotic killer.

Probably the best Kevin Kearney book of them all. Despite also seeing the antogonist's point of view, this is a fairly exciting book. An inmate is mistakenly transported and he makes his escape. He spends the whole time creating mayhem. The book is all about apprehending him. There is good character development and a hallmark of McGarrity books, a smorgasbord of cops from different jurisdictions as the inmate runs everywhere. I liked it so much I finished it in a couple of days.

I probably would not have read this book but it was a gift. I enjoyed mostly the beginning with all the murders and how he escaped jail time. Overall a good book. Keeps you interested!

Creepy--about a serial spree killer who is just lucky enough to be dangerous and sociopathic enough to be functional. I like this series about Kevin Kerney and Clayton Istee.

I love that New Mexico is a character in all of Michael McGarrity's books. Kevin is finally getting wiser.
