As much as I enjoyed this book, it got a little heavy for me! I was surprised at how serious the tone was at times. Overall, it was a very beautiful love story!

3.5 ~ ok this was cute! This was my first rom com soooo I’m probably not the most reliable reviewer rn. Buuut I will give my thoughts anyways. So I love the concept of this. Men reading romance books to win back their wives? Love. I really liked Gavin as the mmc and started warming up to Thea towards the end. I will say though…..LIV??? So annoying……also something I HATE in rom com movies and HATED in this book is the last bit of conflict after things are finally happy. Like I GUESS it’s a part of the rom com writing formula but I really despise it. Anyways…loved the happy ending

I loveddddd this book. It was the perfect fluff piece and just what I needed to read. This is probably my new guilty pleasure read.

The idea of the book is amazing, but the characters and actual dialogue, I didn't like. Especially Thea and liv.
This just didn't hit at All

Erm. Can't really say how much I disliked this book. Reading romantic novels is really quite the risky business nowadays, either it's heart-pounding good or it's really horrifyingly bad. I felt that with this sparkly, feminist and somewhat cute packaging of guys reading old, out-dated romantic novels would be a nice plot, but it's just a smart deception of a book that lets the old world'd outdated look on how men and women should be run rampage throughout. I really disliked the two main characters and found their actions to be incredibly unsympathetic. It's just a really terrible use of time when they could've just communicated about these issues and not have wasted a whole bunch of paper.
