Jag läste dem nog i fel ordning. A Room With a View var en så fin överraskning, så jag kom in i Howards' End med för hög förväntan.
Det är ju såklart sjukt bra skrivet. Forster kan verkligen skriva kvinnokaraktärer med tankar och känslor så det räcker och blir över. Tankarna och känslorna är dock många gånger föråldrade, vilket skapar en distans. Jag gillar Margaret, men hon gör och tycker konstiga saker. Det gör alla, många gånger om. Det är lite svårt att se var vi är på väg. Förutom till titelns hus såklart. Vilket är ett annorlunda mål för en roman, och värt att hyllas bara därför.
Plus fint namn på sagda hus ;-)

He acabado este libro y solamente puedo decir que me ha encantado. Es un libro complejo, extraño pero muy entrañable. Está lleno de filosofía, de sentimientos, de personajes complejos y metáforas. Creo que me he perdido muchos detalles que sabré captar en futuras relecturas. Es una sensación que también me dejó "Maurice", y aunque este libro me ha gustado más que "Maurice" y me parece más redondo, siento que me falta algo para darle las 5 estrellas. Lo acabo de terminar y ya está pidiendo relectura. Igual con el paso de los días y las semanas finalmente cambie la puntuación pero ahora esta es mi primera impresión.
