A lovely book about a life I would love to live! Not hugely exciting and no big twist. I loved Nina and Tom, Lili and her daughters, and Millie!

I really had high hopes for this but it didn’t quite grab me. There were some lovely lines I appreciated and I wish I had felt more connected to this story but i just keep waiting for it to begin. Listened and enjoyed the narrator. Would try another title by this author as I suspect she will only improve!

Very lovely read! Peaceful, relatable main character, book stores and overall happy.

This was the perfect book at the perfect time for me. Fun, sweet, goofy. I loved that it acknowledges and validates anxiety.

Introverted book lovers will relate to this honest, witty representation of life filled with planning to which the universe responds 'I'll show you'. Laugh out loud moments are balanced with cringe-worthy 'I've been there' instances only introverts can truly embrace, making it hard to put this book down. So make your tea, settle into your comfy chair, call your lap cat and put on your quiz thinking cap. Don't worry, you can always people tomorrow. If you have to ;)

“Nina looked down and smiled...with the plentiful sarcasm and soothing rows of book spines. It was heaven on earth.”

This novel is probably best described as a bookworm hug :0)

I loved following Nina in her introverted life that is challenged by the discovery of a new family and a potential romance, as well as the danger facing the bookshop where she works. I won’t say that all bookworms are the same, of course not, but you will recognise a few, or even a lot, characteristics that will make you smile. It is a light and funny story that will charm most of us.
