It was a cute book, but I had to keep reminding myself that this is a 29 year old protagonist, and not the 15 year old she sounded like.

The characters weren't bad, the story was just boring.

I'm really glad I picked up this story. Nina Hill is an endearing character and I basically want her life. A good pick for for books lovers and introverts.

An introvert who is happy with her cat and a good book? Now, why does that sound familiar....
I loved this book! The many comparisons I drew from Nina Hill's life and character resonate very loudly with me. I liked being able to read what was going on in her head while she was feeling anxious. I totally understood the feeling of wanting to get away from the world and dive into fiction because it's just too much. (And because fictional men are better than the real thing, duh

3.5 stars. Delightful romcom romp for the Millennial Generation. (In which a number of the characters, including our heroine, suffer with anxiety.) However, just as the romantic storyline and crazy, long-lost family subplots were nicely building up towards a resolution, the work-related narrative, with its not insignificant challenges, came to rather an abrupt end. (To which the reader of this tale exclaims, “Whoa there!”). Hence, 3.5 stars.
