I really liked this! Books... check! Introverted, quirky character.... check! Slight romance, but not too cliche.... check! I always have a soft spot for bookish, introverted characters and this book did not disappoint. It's laugh-out-loud funny and has great characters. I loved Nina's OCD planning tendencies, her schedule full of trivia & book clubs, and her trepidation to welcome into her life a family she had no idea she had. She finds herself in hilarious situations and it made for an enjoyable read. Definitely recommend this one!
I really enjoyed Nina’s story but I wish we spent more time with her journey discovering her new family and a little less on the love story.
Had a few genuinely funny lines, but mostly felt like it was trying too hard to be funny. Didn't connect with any of the characters

This book looks at family and what it’s like to be alone, venturing out of your comfort zone, and allowing others to have space in your world. Relaxing & lighthearted Nine learns she doesn’t have to be alone in her reading world.
Wonderfully cute and fun. Probably a 4 star book, but I'm giving it 5 because it make me feel so happy while reading. I don't usually love when every detail is perfectly tied up in a bow, but it feels good here. The daily planner pages were a fun touch too.
Fellow bookworms, there’s just too much to love about the delightful & quirky Nina Hill! As someone who lists reading at the top of her life pleasures, there were so many things to relate to in this one. Plus, I laughed out loud several times and found the sarcasm so great. This one isn’t a five star literary gem but a five star for how much I looked forward to getting back to it and the happiness it brought to my own little reading corner of the world!
“It also meant she thought of books as medication and sanctuary and the source of all good things. Nothing yet had proving her wrong.”
“Nina had looked around and realized she would never run out of things to read, and that certainly filled her with peace and satisfaction. It didn’t matter what hit the fan; as long as there were unread books in the world, she would be fine.”

Not a book I'd pick out for myself but a nice change of pace from what I usually read and I enjoyed it more than I expected!
At the beginning a bit cutesy and full of slang...but then it became more interesting. Read this in one night. Fun literary references, and some decent acknowledgement of family issues and anxiety. A big step up from “Waiting for Tom Hanks.”
