Julia hasn't had sex in 3 years. Her house mate has a boyfriend - are their very loud sex is hard for Julia to not hear through the paper thin walls.
Her dead end job is just a bit meh. Her therapist is telling her things that she really does not want to hear and the men surrounding her are just bland. Enough is enough.

When she is invited to a warehouse party, she jumps at the invite. At this party she meets a woman, leading to Julia's sexual awakening - her new lesbian life.

Julia finds her tribe at queer swing classes, new friends and guided by her new lover, Sam, she discovers London gay bars and tries BDSM sex clubs. However, soon Sam starts calling the shots and feels the need to be in charge.

This story was wonderful! I listened to this via audiobook and the narration was fantastic. I laughed many many times and I was hugely invested in the story - still now thinking about how Julia is doing.
Julia is my age and the things she speaks about are highly relatable. Some of the experiences were hilarious but also I could feel her pain and relate to multiple situations.

By far the best audiobook I have listened to with regards to narration and a fantastic storyline
