“P.S. — Life is short! Go out and grab it with both hands!
P.P.S. — I hope you find a dancing partner who deserves you!”

very funny, gripping, graphic, heartbreaking at times, but good development. i like books with short chapters and i especially like when the chapters are titled.

i like that even though sam is obviously awful and in the wrong in every way, there’s that paragraph in one of the last chapters saying how to sam’s friends, the situation probably seems very different. adds some nuance and makes you think about the other perspective.

I haven't read a book like this since 50 Shades of Grey like is Sam another Christian Grey becuz?!?!?! Once your meet her character you will know what i mean. But honestly Sam sucks at the consent area fr fr like they def need contracts in this one because Julia is getting taken advantage of. So yeas she is an adult but that is def on the ish side because she still has a roomie and is questioning her life choices and is going out to party for the first time while she is not too sure how to carry herself. Def a coming of age story but its an adult being taken over to the wild side where she is pressured to live a poly lesbian lifestyle even tho she is only wanting to explore one relationship.
emotional funny lighthearted sad
