3.75-4*

The series was beginning to feel like a flavor of the week story telling with each new novel.  Dead and Gone brings a refreshing lift to the series and ups the ante for Sookie and all the supes.

Book 4 and 9 have been my favorites... Not too much to try to keep up with, an PLENTY of Eric ;-)

Who needs Bella when you have Sookie.

Book 9 is a harder book to read and Sookie face some serious pain in the end. As the serious continues you realise that Sookie is getting harder and less things shock her. With the weres coming out and Fairies on the loose, things became very complicated.
A good paced read that keeps you enthralled and entertained. Highly addictive and thrilling
slow-paced

This is the tough one. This is the book that made me fall off on this series when I originally read it over 10 years ago (I believe I stopped after the 10th book). It was therefore also the book I was dreading for my re-read. But this time around I was kind of surprised at how much I didn’t remember from this novel. I instead remembered the torture scenes to be a huge part of the book, when it actually was a very short scene with a long lasting impact.

The timeline of these novels is a bit wonky. It’s hard to imagine that all the novels up until this point was only 1 year. But maybe I’m wrong.

The ending of the fae war storyline was both a relief and infuriating.

This one is just sad, idk what else to write about it. 3/5

This was a fast and easy read but it's getting to be a bit silly. I'm interested to see if the seried will end with the next book which is scheduled to release Oct. 2009
