The plot twist at the end surprised me, and I was in the dark for the most part.
I liked the way the book touched on mommy issues and moving on with life after divorce, it gave it a real feel. However, I found the fmc getting with mmc so confusing, like he did what he did and you still get with him - are you ok??

The suspense in this book was really good. It kept me interested to see what secrets were being kept. I was so curious about the connection between Chloe and Dean. I kept wondering how their paths would cross. Once they connected and the secrets started to come out, the story nosedived. The big secret wasn’t nearly as scandalous as it was portrayed. The people attempting to keep the secrets hidden went about it in all the wrong ways. The so-called good guys that were avenging their loved one’s honor were so out of touch with reality. None of it was believable by the end.
