Loved the format - the juxtaposition between the podcast and the present and past perspectives of the main character. Lots of twists and turns and the main character was flawed and sarcastic and definitely made me chuckle on numerous occasions. She felt like a real person which I appreciated as so many times there is more development around the plot but the main character driving the plot can feel thin and one dimensional.

Overall throughly enjoyed from start to finish.

I enjoyed this read immensely! I listened to the audiobook for this, which was why I rated this just a scootch higher than a 4 before the production quality or the audiobook and how the podcast episodes weave into the story was entertaining and felt like a podcast episode.

I had several different suspects throughout the piece, and while the person who actually did it was on my list I didn't expect the extent of which the murder happened. The nuance of this book is a critique on personal narrative and the believability of one person over another. I'm glad those themes are woven into the story, because it makes it a more compelling overall novel for me.

This was a really fun listen. The readers were both good, and it was cool that the podcast segments really felt like listening to a recording of people talking, with laughing and such. The mystery kept me guessing all the way through. Around 50% in i thought i had it all figured out but I was quite wrong lol. It got a little old that literally every person in Plumpton was sleeping with each other, but it was more of a giggle than an actual gripe with the story.
Lucy was a really intriguing protagonist, and even though she couldn't remember what happened that night I found her constant urges to kill people really interesting; sometimes fun, sometimes disturbing. Overall a good story :)
