Pretty good book helping young writers find their voice. Lots of advice from two authors.

Great book for young people (elementary, junior high, and high school) interested in writing, in becoming writers.

What a great book for young writers. Practical advice delivered in a fun style. I think I might order a set for my classroom and use it as a guide in writing workshop.

A very personable and creative look at writing. I have recommended this book already to students and have had students from previous years recommend it to me. This book will inspire the reluctant writer and will encourage the prolific writer. There is something for everyone. While it is primarily targeted to a younger audience, I feel as if even adults could take a few tips from the book. From tips, tricks, activities, and prompts, I was happy to stumble upon this great resource!

Currently I'm re-reading this book for the great information and gems of humorous advice for the young writers in my Writers' Workshop Adventure class.

However, this book is chocked full with good writing help for any age . . . and it will make you laugh too.

A good guide that's also captivating. I probably read this like 5 times as a kid.

A good book to read if you are thinking about becoming a writer. I thought of lots of idea while reading using the methods they suggest.

Still, hands-down, the best book about writing I’ve ever read. This was the book that really started it all for me. <333

As another reviewer wrote, "Spilling Ink is pretty much one the best young writer's handbooks of its kind I've ever seen."

I love this book so much. I got it from the liberay on a friday and was done with it by the next Monday. I think that anyone who want to be a writer should read this bbok.
