all stars for Remy. Brooke is tied with Abby from Beautiful Disaster as most annoying heroine EVER. I love Remy though :)
I'm not sure I can properly express how phenomenal this book is. Like all the books in the Real series this one is HOT, steamy and perfect. Remy takes the alpha male character to new heights. Nothing is so primal, so sensual or so incredibly romantic as this fighter and his firecracker. I've complained about trite and bland declarations of love in other NA novels but something about Katy Evans' writing makes my inside all gooey when Remy 'scents' his woman, plays her a song to show her the depth of his love or simply licks her laying claim and melting hearts. I think I literally swoon reading these books. Swoon. Seriously, does anyone swoon these days? Apparently I do when I read about Remington Tate and his woman, Brooke Dumas.
Holy hell this story does not lose it's intensity in the retelling through Remy's eyes!! I didn't think I could love you anymore Remy, but I am falling in love all over again, I love Remy even more! My book boyfriend is back! Another must read!
So... Gideon Cross has been my number 1 darling for awhile now as far as men who make my heart flutter and leaving me fanning myself. However, I'm still torn on whether or not Remington has tied Gideon, or if he's become the champion for me as well as Brooke. I digress..
Remy is definitely the most intense male I've ever encountered, and, my god, I LOVE HIM! There were times he cursed too much, and the poor guy constantly had blue balls which initially got a little old for me. I had to pause a few times and take a step back, getting into his mindset better so I could keep going, then I was able to understand more. A bipolar, alpha, dominant, fighter is going to curse a lot, he's going to have the massive amounts of testosterone flowing through him, he's going to desire his mate on another level than an every day guy. I love how different Remy is and how much his mental issues make him so lovely (despite how uncomfortable he feels). I never thought I'd enjoy the man licking and scenting so damn much, but I just kept wanting more. Brooke is one lucky lady! Can I live a day in her shoes??
The only down side is knowing the next book doesn't focus on Remy and Brooke. I want more of them and their life with Racer as he grows. Ah well... :-\
PS- Excuse this review if it doesn't make sense because it's super late/ early and I'm WIPED!

enjoyed but i loved to read more about this couple cos manic is hard to deal with
This book is told in Remington Tate's perspective from the past -Real and Mine and the present- as he and Brooke tied the knot. It's fast paced and nothing much happened. We just get to see more of his attraction towards Brooke. That's it. The past moments dragged on. Still, it's a happy ending :)
Remy was a good companion book to Real. The information was pretty much the same but in Remy's POV as stated in the blurb. You did get glimpses into the present (after Mine).
I don't really know what makes his book a 5 for me. Is it the fact that the guy is so hot even when he's kind of sick? Is it because he know he's imperfect and still strives to be the perfect one for the girl? Is it because he never did back down? Or is it all of the above?
I like his kind of an alpha mam because he actually has his reason (A REALLY SOLID REASON) for acting crazier than normal guys. I love how sweet he can be and how protective he is. He's like a hard ass butter hearted guy. This book showed just how his moods can change drastically. It hurt to read about his insecurities because seriously, he just can't help being the way he is. He is just like that. It's in his DNA. He'sone of those big men that I just want to give a hug because they deserve it. Awwwww.
I'm glad he found his real too. I'm totally happy fpr this perfectly imperfect guy. ;)
Good job REMY. You made me love you.
