I had read Quitter by Jon Acuff, and had known him from his website and book of the same name, Stuff Christian's Like, and I read this book as a companion book to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace. While this book isn't as serious as Jon's other two books, I think that is more because it is a companion to Dave Ramsey's financial program. For anyone who is thinking about reading something by Dave Ramsey, or attending his Financial Peace University class, but want quick overview, it serves that purpose.

This wonโ€™t make sense at all if youโ€™re not familiar with Dave Ramsey and the baby steps. A quick read that was funny and motivating!

My rating: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

My thoughts: 2% -  For a second I thought it was a rip off. Then I realized Dave Ramsey does the Forward.
18% - It's actually funny and relatable.

This isn't a cheat sheet to the Baby Steps, it's a humorous overview. I really enjoyed the book, there was some financial psychology thrown in there as well. It's less about the  actual baby steps and more about the culture and sticking to the plan.

Recommend to others?: Only if you're a Babystepper.

Itโ€™s witty. Funny. And honest. I read this book in one day. I loved it as someone who wants to argue with Dave Ramsey but knows that heโ€™s right. Just a fun quick read about budgets.

funny but nothing substantial
