The Lost Symbol

While I loved this book, it was not as good as either De Vinci or Angels and Demons. The pace was great and it made me think, but there seemed to be more unneeded plot twists then in the previous books. Dont get me wrong, I loved it and will read his next without doubt.. I just think Brown set the bar very high with his last 2 books.

Unlike Brown's previous two books, The Lost Symbol is slow going. The characters even Langdon are not as likeable or relatable. It is VERY repetitive. I also called the biggest plot twist about half way through the book.

A classic adventure read that doesn’t make you think too hard.

One of the best books I've read! It got my attention the whole time.

3.5/5

I have been a fan of Brown since reading The DaVinci Code... As a person interested in mythology and symbolism, his book always entertain.

This was no exception. Good read, some ideas to ponder.
