Yeah, so this is another version of the Da Vinci Code...it is still great! Lots of historical knowledge and mysteries, and this book is a page turner. This one is set in Washington, D.C., and will have you wanting to stay up hours to finish it.

Enjoy!

I dont know why but this book was kinda hard to get through for my but it was fantasic as always, i almsot had a heart attack when Robert drowned i was painting and my water flew of the table because i was so nervous

The zealot who mars his body, the attractive middle-aged woman who runs with Langdon, the wise religious man who aids their escape. It's all here, and I've read it all before. The entire last chapter was so painful, I almost took my rating down to one star. Since the book was interesting enough that I finished it, I give it two.

If you take it as a fictional play around exaggerated truths its an enjoyable, gripping book. Just don't take it for reality.

MY LOWEST-RATED DAN BROWN BOOK. Finished Nov 09 (got it on its first day). I got my hopes too high on this one after being so impressed with Angels & Demons (which I finished at break-neck speeds during my trip to Turkey in 2006). A third book on symbols, even though this one is in a different setting, was too predictable. The part I liked the best was that it seemed to be well researched and pulled a lot of religious and spiritual concepts together, including Kabbalah.

Long winded but packed full of action and information.

I can only imagine how long it took Brown to research all the stuff for this book. And the stuff he must have on his search history!

Katherine as a character was written much better than the previous leading ladies in this series.

The twists with Zach were wild and really added to the story.

Fascinating amalgamation of history and fiction. The background on the masons and American forefathers was particularly interesting.
