This book was such a beautiful way to wrap up the Sutter Lake series. Dare I say this was my favorite book! Mason is absolutely swoon worthy with a heartbrwjajgn story. Even through it all he’s an amazing man and shows up for the people who need him most! Anna is such a strong female character and fought through her adversity to come out on the other side. This book covered several heavy topics and did it all justice in the best way. I love a marriage of convenience and forced proximity and this book delivered in all aspects! I am so sad to say goodbye to these characters and this tow. But I couldn’t have picked a better ending.

As always Catherine wrote another 5⭐️ read and I can’t wait to read whatever she throws at us next!

This was actually my least favorite of the series. And it wasn’t the story like I actually loved the plot and the shocker in the very beginning that I wasn’t expecting. It was Anna. I didn’t like her at all. She was very just like closed off. I feel like she was even closed off from the reader because it was like okay mason can be my friend one moment and the next she’s saying that she’s falling in love with him and I just didn’t see the build up on her end. I saw how mason slowly started to fall in love with her and the kids but from her perspective it came out of nowhere. I loved Lyla and Justin they added much needed realness and humor to the story line. Overall it was an okay book but Anna just annoyed me too much to give the book the same ratings as previous ones in the series that I loved.

The final book in the Sutter Lake series! I didn't realize it was a marriage of convenience story, and was pleasantly surprised! The reason fir it was solid and really held up throughout the book. There was a lot of drama going on with so many characters that I did feel it took away from the romance a bit. I would have liked more moments between Mason and Anna just getting to know one another and falling in love. An enjoyable read and good end to the series!
