I read this because I felt I might have unfairly judged Little Prudy's Cousin Grace when I read it last year. Maybe I did but honestly this is just not to my taste. Victorian sentimentality and children who are too good to be true aren't my thing. Maybe I would buy it if Little Prudy wasn't supposed to be three and four in the book. But it is a product of its time.
