I adored this book so much. Theo is everything.
The plot of this was pretty sloppy. It got better towards the end but I almost DNF early on because it was a circus.

This story is my favorite so far. I adore Theo and winter. I adore this plot and story. I love how she was the grumpy one and he was everything she needed to pull her out: this literally was the best book so far!!

I don’t know if it’s new year, new me but I have read two surprise pregnancy tropes already this year and I’ve loved them both! This trope was uniquely done, super creative. I don’t want to go into too much detail with more tropes but, trust that you feel the impact.
The sisters, winter & summer. One sister is cold, the other is warm was cute. Along with Tink and Peter

This somehow managed to beat heartless and make it to my number 1 favourite of the chestnut springs series!?!?! I have no idea how but my god I just adored it.
Who would have guessed that I’d have loved jasper and willow this much? Not me that’s for sure but I definitely think they’re two of my top favourite characters in the series too. I love how we get to see Winter’s icy walls break down gradually whilst reading and getting to see her relationships with the other characters develop too. Especially hers and summers because I’ve been routing for that so hard.
I love how protective jasper is of summer too like THIS IS WHAT WE WANT IN A BOOK BOYFRIEND!!!! “She ain’t mine yet but she will be and you’ll watch your mouth when you talk about her” vibes.
I just want to re read this book all over again and again. Everything about it was perfect and I can just tell I’m going to be an absolute mess when the series is over.. we best get a spin off or something because a girl has needs and it’s the chestnut springs men!
