I liked this one much more than the previous, and I think a large part of that was because the MMC (Theo) was the same voice actor from a previous romance I’ve read. (Listen to the audiobook if you can, his voice is 🔥). I liked the change of plotline, even though I don’t typically like

pregnancy tropes

. They were a freaky couple, and it had a turbulent but good plotline. I was unexpectedly surprised by my enjoyment of this book.

I felt like this was over at the 30% mark, but I still had almost the whole book to go. 😂 So much filler. Winter is the least likable FMC ever and I hate the pregnancy trope, but giving the stars for Theo alone.
