This book inspired me to find joy in simple places and made me realize I live close enough to my office to bike there!

4.5 stars- lets see, reading by the fire with candles, cake, bacon, more winter than summer. Shit, I'M SUPPOSED TO BE DANISH!!!

Quite repetitive, but a quick, wholesome read

Time to maximize the cozy! I enjoyed this very much, especially since moving to the Pacific Northwest where we have somewhat dreary winters (not sure that we can compete with Denmark, however!). I thought it would be nice to learn from their attitude of coziness so that winter can be a pleasant time rather than a wet, cold slog. I feel like I would give it 3.5 stars because while the structure is pretty good and the author has great humor, it's not quite as lovely as some of the ideas it presents.

That being said, it's worth checking out at the library or even giving to someone as part of hygge emergency kit.

I don't know why this justified an entire book to just repeat over and over again. Seems like it could've just been an article for a news website instead of stretching this material to make up pages. I found myself skimming just to finish (and didn't miss much).
