4.5/5. I always like audiobooks that are read by the author and this one was no exception. While the content is certainly not groundbreaking, I was happy just listening to the descriptions of all of the cozy, hyggelig things.
So cute. Adorable illustrations. Wonderful writing. This book just makes you feel happier.

This book is very cute! Although there aren’t any earth-shattering ideas, it’s nice to see how the author and other Danes implement hygge, see how I already have some of these practices, and find more to incorporate in my daily life.
Great introduction to hygge! Lots of practical tips to implement in your life.

This is a great introduction to the concept of hygge if you don't know much about it. It tells you pretty much all you need to know, but although there are tips on how to apply it to everyday life and seasons, it's not the guidebook to hygge. The word hygge also seems to have been used a lot more than necessary. It is a quick read though and it indeed is a little book of hygge. It won't make you happier once you read it, but you'll have some insights into the Danish culture.
