I'll admit, I picked this up because the cover was pretty, and it was a nice enough read. There were a few good home-decorating tips and whatnot, but overall I feel there just wasn't enough content to justify a full book.

This was an easy read that reminded me of all the things that make me happy and also to be grateful.
A point Wiking makes clear is that you do not have to spend money to achieve hygge... some other readers in this review section may have missed that part. Since beginning it I have been far more mindful about appreciating the people and the little things that make up my everyday. I recommend reading it if you would like such a reminder.

Very lovely book about a lovely way of life. Would've been 5 stars if it wasn't so repetitive at times.

This book isn't going to win any literary awards, but I enjoyed it. It's quick, informative, easy on the eyes, and has some humor thrown in as well. I thought it was lovely to learn more about the Danish culture and their concept of hygge.

This was good! I don’t know that there were any secrets to happy living in it but it was a cute read. I felt like the author kept saying how living a hygge lifestyle could be free or cheap, but then he would say how you should take your friends to a ski cabin for the weekend or save up your paychecks for a lamp from a danish designer...

Having spent some time of my life in Demark and Copenhagen specifically this book reminded me and explained me somethings about Hygge and Danes culture in general. This book is more like guide, really well written with nice pictures and even nicer recipes and activities proposals. I really liked and I totally recommend if you wanna get a glimpse about Hygge.
