A fantastic memoir and an awesome viewpoint to learn about. A lot of very cool stories about Phil Knight and the forming of Nike. I learnt a lot about business too!

I nearly gave up on the book. I wasn’t in the mood for a memoir and I didn’t take to his voice in the story straight away, but man I am so glad I kept going.
If there’s one thing I took away from this book it is that persistence is so big in determining success. So many obstacles that might have made others give up, but he kept going through them all.
I finished reading this with goosebumps on my arms and a lump in my throat.

Being a big fan of Nike's sneakers and apparel it was just a matter of time before i read his biography.
A story of building the best brand in the world, the perseverance, the friendships, the passion....
Even if some critics will mention how well-off his parents were and helped him out, at the end of the day, Phil Knight built something over the last 50+ years and is not about to go away.
...This book is full of drama and reads like a thriller. My only regret is to have finished it too fast
