Enjoyable look at children's literature from a father's perspective. It may help me appreciate Good-night Moon; and encourage boys to read Little House on the Prairie. Some back story about authors, why they wrote what they wrote, and the times in which they were writing. Reminded me of books I have loved that I would probably enjoy reading again. And now I am wondering about the parenting in The Cat in the Hat -- leaving a fish to watch your children??
