ok read

I do like the story of Sesali and Dash butttttt there was not enough drama for me lol. Very slow read…but if you like the slow type of love stories this one may be for you. I will however try other books from this author.

I really really really liked this story. I wanted Sesali and Dash to hurry up and get together but at the same time I loved how they became friends and how that friendship developed. It was so cute.
I have mixed feelings about the Zoe situation. I see both sides and I think if I was in Zoe’s shoes I would feel some type of way too. I don’t blame Sesali but I do understand Zoe’s feelings. She is allowed to feel what she feels but she just let her feelings take the best off her and she went too far. Way too far. I think Sesali was too nice to her. She deserved to feel the consequences of her actions.
This was such a good love story. They were so cute and funny. Made me feel warm inside. Sigh!
I wish there was more. I wish there was an extra epilogue showing them a couple years down the road.

I swear romance novels just hit different. There’s just something about the man looking how I want him to look and talking how I want him to talk that is *chef’s kiss*

I loved this quick read! I stumbled across it on KU a while back and ignored it but came back to it yesterday for something I could get through in a day. It put me back in a high reading mood for sure!

Sesali and Dash were giving my first teenage love affair vibes throughout.. cue Alicia Keys! I loved the sliding in the DMs, the late night phone calls, the FaceTime. Everything about their relationship felt solid. Like they developed a foundation before they hung out one on one and it felt easy. It was a believable love story, not something I had to side eye because it’s been three days!

I loved the way they interacted, how they loved each other without words, I just really enjoyed the connection. Their more intimate moments where they were just vibing and it wasn’t sexual were interesting. The sex was good too though.. the closet had me cheesing lol.

I’ll definitely pick up another Ashley Nicole book after this!

I have told all my friends to read this one. The banter and the flirting had so many LOL moments. The ankle, the mustache jokes - I loved them so much. My first book by the author and I’ll be reading more. Would love this as a paperback!!!

Loved, loved, loved both their personalities. They spent time developing a relationship as friends. She intending things go no further, he hoping they would, but this wasn't exactly a slow burn, at least I didn't feel so. The relationship was abslutely beautiful.
Oh, and Les from Studio Sessions https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40964114-studio-sessions is in here; another Ashley Nicole banger

I love friends to lovers but not the " We've been friends for years now I love You".  It's the we start as friends but it evolves to love. I didn't think I would like this at first because of how it started.  But by the end I loved Dash and Sesali.  I might buy this book.
