The writing is excellent when it comes to descriptions — but often has references to erotic undertones, especially in the latter half of the book. It slightly put me off, but it's a great read overall. Ehrlich doesn't just narrate. She takes you to the when, where, and why, and the sentences effortlessly morph into visuals. The only prequisite for reading this book is being okay with being captivated. Go for it.
