This book was Eh for me. Some parts were entertaining, but some parts dragged and were hard to follow. I didn’t find myself wanting to pick this one up and kind of made myself finish it. I suspected ern was part of something from the beginning so not much of a twist there for me.

I read all the food Indians at the end of 2024 and wanted to read more Native American horror but honestly expected a bit more from this, I didn’t find it very scary. I preferred noemis nareation and the majority of the book is from louies POV.

DNF. I couldn't put it down until I had too. It was just too triggering for me. It was otherwise incredible.
