I like this book but not as much as I like the series. The TV series was more scandalous and dramatic than the book. Although, the book has a lot of details that might have been good if it was in the TV series. I giggled a lot reading it.

If book Colin has no haters, then I'm dead.
That man can kick rocks. I hope he falls *ss first on a cactus. 
Loved Penelope's growth.
Hated that they she magically lost weight in time for her own love story.

This series for me has a clear cut winner - the tv show.

Very quick paced and easy read but for some reason I wanted more from the book than I got so I'm giving this a 3 star.
