Choppy writing, lots of unanswered questions, I wasn't sure if Vlad was the target but then he owned the nightclub? Why did they wait until she only had 3 months to get pregnant, aren't they getting too close to the deadline? Too many more questions than answers, or any emotional connection.
Short stories should be kept simple and if this was just a taste of a bigger novel, it really didn't peak my interest.
Pass.

Hmm.. okay. Oh, Holy Knight was a easy novella to zoom through. In it, you will meet Erie and Callaghan. Honestly, I didn't really like either of them. Which is weird because in the beginning, I thought I was going to like Erie. She sort of seemed like a mini bad ass who wouldn't necessarily give in to piece of dick.. but I was wrong.

I did, however, laugh my ass off when she said "You're breaking my vagina" because no honey - he wasn't.

Other than that, this was very insta-y with not really likable characters. Maybe in their actual book my opinions on them will change.. but I'm not making any promises here. Just glad that this book was less than 100 pages and secretly hoping that the rest of the books in this universe are as well.

It was a quick read, a snippet for the rest of the book to come.... Which i think is a bit of a let down when the reader experts a full, short novella... Both characters come across as a disappointment... the reader only really sees the first impression each has of each other... Which isn't great.... Erie goes all Mental on a killing spree for reasons..... i still have no idea why.

Still usually i love this Author, but this Fragment of a story hasn't endeared me to the rest of it.

This is a novella serving the Fae world chronicles and introduces the characters Erie and Callaghan. This is the beginning of a larger story which will be continued in a complete novel and focuses on Palladins and Druids. It's enemies to lovers and definitely managed to capture my attention leaving me wanting more.

It's well written and I'm incredibly intrigued to discover the larger picture. It contained some familiar faces which is always a bonus and I'm looking forward to learning more. Be aware it's short and very much a teaser to the main event.

Oh, holy knight

Interesting read but was over a little quicker than I would have liked. I’m assuming there is a book 2 though. I’ve enjoyed all the spin offs of this series so far.

Love meeting new characters

This one is going to be interesting getting to know. Erie is a spitfire incant wit to see I action. This novella just wet the appetite enough to beg for her story. Can’t wait to read the rest of it.

I feel like there is a good story to come with these two but I also feel like this introduction to Erie and Callaghan was a little rushed. I also wasn't expecting it it to be only 75 pages.
I do like how it is a different point of view on the dangerously opening portals and a temporary fix on them.

Okay I didn’t notice it was a novella so only 75 pages. I thought my kindle was glitching when it brought me to the rating screen haha It was basically an intro for Erie. Also I thought I would like Callaghan but ummmm he’s a dick so that was good to know.

It was fine. I don’t LIKE Erie but I don’t dislike her either, she’s badass though for sure. I just wasn’t that into the storyline or their tension so I rated it lower than I usually give my queen Amelia. God just so many books in the series.
