This was a very short read that I could've finished in one sitting if I didn't have Catching Fire to read lol

Anyway, this was a good read. I loved Violet so much! I loved how she took control and decided that she wasn't going to let him break her heart again. The trust between them took a while to be built. And it was built as realistically as possible since most of the book takes place in one night. The chemistry was sizzling.

My only complaint is that I found the dialogue to be a tad bit sappy. Otherwise, I enjoyed reading this a lot!

This was a cute little read. I enjoyed Violet a lot. Unfortunately, Christian was just kind of "meh" for me. I think Violet was too good for him and forgave him a bit too easily.
funny lighthearted

Seems like an intriguing series. The first book is only 2.99 for the Kindle version so I've got that lined up to read next!

A novella taking place in Spindle's Cove. A fast read about a mysterious stranger who shows up one night in the cove and collapses at the feet of one of the "spinster" of the cove.

I enjoyed this quick, second chance, holiday novella. Typically, I'm not a fan of second chance because of all of the angst involved, but since this is a novella, there's no time for a lot of angst and flashbacks. Instead, it's just a fun, quick story set in Spindle Cove.

violet deserved better but i get what this was meant to bring

Only Tessa Dare can make a novella this wonderful.
