i enjoyed this book but the two sections were entirely too disjointed for my taste. even when it was revealed how they were connected, it didn’t feel significant. i found the characters relatable and enjoyable but the twists in each section were just. too much. i think it would have benefited from either a lot less plot or a lot more.
