I feel like this was more focused on the trails to become Ares than it was on the romance between all of them. 

Achilles was an asshole, but not in a cute way, just straight up an ass. 

Also didn't appreciate the whole "one day they'll leave" thing.

Patroclus was too much of a pushover in my opinion.

Still loved Helen and everything else about Patroclus. And I loved the dramatics. But this didn't really feel like a romance.

I terms of the series so far this lands right in the middle. I adored Electric Idol but didn’t like Neon Gods. I didn’t hate but didn’t love this one. I liked Helen she was a woman in charge of herself despite others trying to control her. Achilles started out as a total asshole that eventually shifted into a single minded idiot. Patroclus is too nice of a person to be stuck with Achilles. I loved how they understood Helen’s past trauma and respected and helped her heal from it. It was a good book, just not my favorite.

I didn’t like this one as much as the other two. Achilles was pretty unbearable and I hated every scene with the ex. Atalanta was cool and I really liked Helen. I also liked how it ended and set something really cool up for the next book.

I just love this series so much. Paris is such an ass, I wanted to punch him in his smug face! But Achilles? Patroclus? Freaking swoon!

This book is good, but not stellar and I don’t quite have the words to say why. The triad is hot as hell, but their HEA doesn’t feel realistic to the story. Parts of this were awesome and parts fell flat.

Katee Roberts has done it again! Dark Olympus is easily my favourite of her works, but Wicked Beauty really takes the cake this time. As a pansexual person its awesome to see such well researched, and fully developed queer characters! The spice is incredible, my husband thought so too 😉
