3/5 stars, full review to come! I feel like Lili could really grow to be a great poet because I feel how much she put her heart into this collection, I just think she needs more time to hone her poetic voice.

Riddled with cliches, reads like two friends ranting at each other about their superficial lives & loves.

Another poetry collection that I enjoyed, I’m a changed woman. This was one that was really easy to read, but still a beautiful and nuanced exploration of relationships and mental health.

Love is the only thing
we can offer one another at this point.
So love really fucking hard.
Always.

These collections of poems are beautiful and so relatable. A big reason why is because they’re written by a celebrity that has spoken out about her perceptions of herself and the world around us. It’s a breath of fresh air to see the real side of a celebrity and not just a facade. She shows the messy parts of herself, love and the world through her poems. They’re just so true and genuine and beautiful. Would highly recommend if you like poetry.
