This was a sweet book about two people who view each other as rivals and fall in love. They have a history before working together that I actually liked and found interesting to hear about. In the end the balance each other out.

You should read this if you like queer women loving on each other, some family drama, and growth within characters.

I want to try to read the physical I couldn’t really get into it through audio book I did not enjoy how it was being read not sure if it was the voices the reader was assigning each character but I found it hard to follow

Huge Spoilers cause I don’t know how to shut up:

I LOVED this book. I cannot recommend it enough. I love queer characters who have emotional baggage and just want to be loved and appreciated, cause god if that ain’t me. I felt for Sage, I felt for Noah, I gave a genuine shit about their comics and their work between the two of them. I wanted them both to win the competition so badly, even though it obviously couldn’t work that way. And goddamnit I love a happy ending. A double proposal?! Do you want me on the floor sobbing? Cause guess what- I was in TEARS! Noah drawing out their life? Sage winning the stupid carnival bear? Tears. Honest to god tears. I love when characters love each other. I love when you can tell authors love their characters. I love this book.

Perfect imagery, romance, dashes of spice. I loved that the characters were smart, emotionally savvy and caring people. They have flaws but weren’t reckless. I’m obsessed with this story.
