Brynlee and Deacon had such an amazing romantic story to share! Their instant and undeniable connection and chemistry set the stage perfectly for their marriage of convenience. This story had it all. The storyline was fantastic and delightfully steamy. Brynlee and Deacon were beautiful together, and I loved their sweet romance. They had that sizzling spark, and their communication was fabulous. I loved how solid they were together! This book was a roller coaster of emotion; some heavy issues were at play, and the story choked me up quite a few times. I really appreciated the healthy co-parenting relationship between Deacon and Isla. It was refreshing to see all the adults involved acting maturely and in the best interest of Kennedy right from the start. As we have seen repeatedly in the Kroydon Hills universe, these characters always show up for one another, making for such a dynamic story. I always love seeing the characters from the previous books. The legacy kids' epic relationships and hilarious banter are a huge part of why I'm so hooked! I absolutely love it. This was such a fantastic end to the Playing to Win series!

 sweet, swoony, steamy.
I love Brynlee and Deacon story, even though it feels fast, the connection between their emotion's never lie. there are a lot of fluff and steamy scene i could rate it 3,5 spice!

BUT, there are some hole in the plot that makes me wonder why this story feels like missing some moment? like their whole background story, and i need more about Kennedy and Brynlee scene.

If you one of those eager reader, you can read it in one sitting. this is that type of book where you can read it without feeling gloomy ( the texting part is so much fun) because the plot is light and easy to read.

I received an ARC and all thoughts are my own.

I really enjoyed this book. I wish it was longer because I wanted to read more of their story. The Sweet Spot tells us the story of Brynlee St. James & Deacon Kane.

While it states that it’s a stand-alone, I loved that it answered some unknowns from previous books:
1) We find out why Brynlee & Grace swap apartments with Maddox
2) We find out who Brynlee was having sex with on the couch when Ares was trying to sneak out of Grace’s room

We never really learned that much about Brynlee in the previous books, so it was great really getting to learn about her. Her and Deacon’s relationship throughout the book is great.

The way Deacon says ā€œmy wifeā€ is just so possessive and hot. He is so obsessed with being able to call Brynlee that, that you can feel it through the book.

I absolutely LOVE that they didn’t break up for no reason in the third act. They really trusted what the other one said and didn’t give it a second thought.

We see how thoughtful & caring Brynlee truly is when Deacon has an absolute bomb dropped on him. She offers a marriage of convenience to make not only Deacon’s life easier, but his daughter Kennedy’s life.

Great read! Thank you @bellamatthews.author for allowing me to read this ARC!

At this point I think the author could write anything about this characters and I would eat it up. I love this whole universe.

Deacon was Brynlee’s childhood crush, so to find out he is the new head coach for the hockey team her family owns came as a huge shock . Brynlee was convinced Deacon didn’t know she existed when they were younger .. so now that they are older with a very obvious smoking hot chemistry, Bryn’s dreams are coming true . But their secret relationship can only be kept in the dark for so long when you’re a single dad . That’s when the two of them come up with the brilliant plan of a marriage of convenience . Will the two of them make it out of all of this unscathed once their secrets are brought to life ?

I jumped into this series with the last book and now I can’t wait to go back and read the rest !! This was such a fun, quick read that took me by surprise with some of the hard hitting emotions that were woven in . Not to mention that Brynlee’s secrets and the big twist I did not see coming which was incredible ! Brynlee and Kennedy’s (Deacon’s daughter) relationship was so heartwarming to watch grown and Deacon is just the most amazing dad . I can’t wait to see what is in store for us next !

This is book four in the Playing To Win series and it can be read as a complete standalone .
