ARC REVIEW!
I read this book in one sitting, it was that good! I have been looking forward to Brynlee's book since we met her in The Keeper and her and Deacon's romance was so good! The last bit of the book was a little more emotional than I expected but without giving anything away, it was handled perfectly in my opinion and made me love Deacon even more! Also, like every other book in this series, the girl gang was everything!

This is such a fun, short, and sweet summer read with a lot of good spice (kind of like Brynn)! There were parts where I was left wanting more of the history of Deacon and Brynlee, but overall it was such an amazing book. I loved how they naturally fell into this amazing rhythm of parenting Kennedy and seeing how co-parenting is sometimes the healthiest and best option. I’m so excited for Kenzie’s story next!
fast-paced
The Sweet Spot is a heartwarming blend of fake marriage, second chances, and swoon-worthy romance! Brynlee and Deacon’s chemistry is electric, and their shared history adds depth to their connection. Deacon’s bond with his daughter Kennedy is absolutely adorable, and Brynlee’s sweet relationship with Kennedy will melt your heart. With a mix of humor, heartfelt moments, and appearances from beloved characters in the Playing to Win series, this book is a feel-good read that delivers all the sparks and sweetness you could want!

-another five star read by Bella Matthews!
-the storyline was perfect
-I couldn’t put this book down, I devoured it
-you can read as a standalone however all the previous books she has written intertwine so start at the first book and read through the previous series to get this whole family/friend dynamic

Bella, you really did me in with this one. It was perfect. First, I’d like to say that my favorite thing about these connected series is the huge family, friendships, text chains and gossip news stories. It’s so heartwarming, funny and endearing. I can never put her books down and this was no exception.
Brynlee and Deacon had secret crushes on each other as kids but he was a few years older. Fast forward years later and he’s back in town as the new hockey coach, and a single dad. The chemistry and sparks just fly immediately with these two. However, Bryn is dealing with a lot in life and having a hard time coming to terms with things and making decisions. I loved these two because it was just “go” right from the get-go. They have this magnetic pull and it’s fast forward. But when you know, you know and life is short. Bryn helps him because she has the biggest heart and he is there for her in so many ways.
This was the most emotional one out of the series, especially the back half of this book. The tears just would just not stop. This was amazing, truly. And I know I say this after every book, but I cannot wait for Maddox to get his story. We just get more and more of him and I know his book will be epic too.
