A nice alphabet book that covers Idaho's natural history, industries (agriculture, nuclear power, fisheries), and cultural history, not shying away from how railroads and pioneers changed the landscape and how people live here. Some of the rhymes are a little iffy but overall, a nice array of topics. I like the two tier format where there's rhyming couplets for younger readers and paragraphs with more detail for more practiced ones.
