I read all of Jeannette Oaks book when I was a teenager. My grandma bought them and had them at her house and it was a treat to read them while I was visiting.

I love the way Janette Oke writes. The story moves slightly fast but still gives detail to things. This is the 3rd time I've read this book and it never fails to make me obsessed with the characters and plot.
Its book one is an 8 book series.

Sometimes going back and rereading something we read in our younger years is a bad thing. It's not as good as we remember and suddenly a memory of a fabulous book is tarnished. Not so in this case! Was just as good as I remember :)

This book is tearing you apart throught the entire story. At one point you feel sorry for the girl and on the other you wish she'd just get over it and love the new man in her life. I know, a little mushy to you, but still a great read.
