This one took me a moment to really get. I wasn't exactly expecting a holmesian mystery going in, but I was not disappointed by any means. It's entertaining, enthralling, and, if you can get into the language, well-written. Admittedly, it's a short read, I got through it in about six hours, but it's a remarkably enjoyable read, a sort of snack after a big read.

3.5 rounded up to 4. (Edited to 3.) I think there were too many world-specific words that were never explained or overused, but overall this was a cozy mystery with a very interesting world (set on Jupiter) and intriguing visuals, with a side of a very sweet (sapphic) romance. Excited to read the next one!
